How long can 2 cycle gas lay in my tank before it goes bad !or does it get bad ,I run Klotz?

 

are u talking about 2 cycle oil in its own tanks or do u pre mix with gas

 

Premix in the tank,I havn't rode for a while.

confused........do u put your 2 stroke oil in a seprate tank
or do u mix the oil with the gas

and are u talking about how long the oil is good for or how long the gas is good for ??

 

if pre mix prob in about about a week it starts to loose its octane level slowly then in about 2-3 weeks it will loose a couple number ( 92- 87)

 

Any gas can go bad, the oil should be fine.. What i do on my banshee when i don't ride much i use a fuel stabilizer and before i ride i shake the quad a little to get the oil from the bottom of the tank to mix with the gas...

 

My gas is already pre-mixed in the tank of my bike. Just wandering how long the pre-mixed gas in my tank will stay good?

Not long without some sort of stabilizer, maybe a month or two its hard to say...

remember to get the oil/gas mixed good after setting for a while the oil will settle on the bottom of the tank..
