Default wheelies?

hey just picked up a 02 scrambler 500 4x4 last night. anyway, semms pretty quick but it wont quite stand up on 2 wheels. is this about normal for an almost stock scrambler? i think the only internal thing its had done is a 700 twin belt

Default wheelies?

when my scrambler was stock i would have to stand on the grab bar to get the front end up.. Sometimes while sitting down...

BTW, Welcome to the forums...

If you like the power and dont want to mod it and still want to wheelie then just change the primary spring. It will stand right up.

Mine wouldn't stock....now it will if I'm on hardpack and sit back on the seat...pipe/filter/rejet.....I think I might change primary springs before I go ordering a whole kit.

Default wheelies?

The trick to doing a wheelie on a automatic is to wait until you can feel the FULL power come on then give a tug on the handlebars and it will come up no problem. I've seen guys trying to do them but can't and it's because they are trying to pull back when they punch it. Just wait a half second or so THEN pull back. I could do one on a friend of mines 500 in the sand with stock tires pretty easily.

maybe it has something to do with the fact that u have big heavy winch on the front end.
