Default carb. problems

Hi guys.... I'm having a little problem with my new 42mm flatside carb. I installed it on my '97 Sport and can't seem to get it adjusted right. It came with a 410 jet in it, but when I get the trottle to about half way open it starts to sound like it's starting to bog out. I put smaller jets in it 350,320,300,and a 210 jet and all the same problem. I put the original carb. on it (34mm) with a 210 jet and it idled high. Could this be my cable? Some of the mods. I've just recently done are port and polish, pro design cool head, bored over .040 with a weisco, v- force reeds dg pipe and k&n filter off the carb. Please Help..........

Default carb. problems

if this helps any..

The air screw is most effective between idle through 1/8 throttle.

The pilot (slow) jet is most effective between 1/8 through 1/4 throttle.

The slide valve is most effective between 1/8 through 1/2 throttle

The jet needle is most effective between 1/4 through 3/4 throttle.

The main jet is most effective between 3/4 through wide-open throttle.
