i was wondering if it was hard to wheelie,because i've seen it in alot of magazines where they say the predator isn't a wheelie machine,but i want to know from some of you pred owners.

 

I don't have a hard time wheeling my pred. Now im not sure if them mean as far as just hitting the gas an it coming up. You have to give it alittle help to get going up. You can pop the clutch an it will come up to. I had some good traction in the ditch here an was turning around an got on it an the front end came up on it an was not out of control it was kinda cool cause it was still turning with front tires in the air.

 

The 03's were more of an anti-wheelie setup. For 04, the swingarm was shortened 5/8" so the front lofts a bit easier.

 

Go to a 13 tooth front sprocket / Pipe / and K&N filter / rejet...... You'll have a hard time keepin the front end down.... evan on an 03.

 

I have all kinds of mods on my 03, and it is very hard to wheelie. I have to intentionally want to go up, to wheelie.

 

gearing it faster actually made 1st and second keep the front up more. i guess its cause it revs too quickly when its geared down. geared down, you can get it up in 4th easy enough.

 

i dont have a hard time, 1 and 2 gear are ez i havent really tried others.

 

Yeah if I am hooking up, and I pop the clutch, she'll come on over on me if I don't pay attention.

 

yeah in the mags they were talking like it wouldn't get up on two wheels at all,but i knew that had to be wrong with a 500cc manual clutch sport quad.thanks for the replies.
