If a rock made a hole it the muffler, it would probably still be inside the muffler (not guaranteed, but probable). Ricktor could also be right, it may have been shot. A guy I know was driving down the road and all of a sudden his rear tire went flat (fairly new tires, and he didn't run over anything). He stopped his truck and started looking at the tire. He noticed a good sized gash right in the middle of the tread so he put his spare on. When he went and had a new tire put on the rim he noticed an exit hole through the rim! His tire had been shot while he was driving down the road! I wouldn't have believed it if I hadn't seen it myself, but it happened.

I'm with Rictor. Camouflage your muffler and maybe it won't get shot again. Unless of course, they were aiming at you. Don't ride through there again. They might get you second time around. As far as the hole, stick a carrot in it. I heard that works pretty good.

 

I guy i no was just going down the road and some how a bullet landed right on his hand and knocked the cig from his hand. So it could have happened

 

I'm SORRY racenut1, but I know the guy that knows 96cobra's guy. He said IT was just an accident. He was just cleaning his gun and it went off and shot out this guys tire and then ricocheted and hit ANOTHER guys silencer.

Talonhawk, why come in here and start crap. It is possible it was shot, but not likely. The guy I know had his rear tire shot out while driving down the road. The person who fired the round was never found. If you don't believe me fine, but why start crap when the guy is just asking a simple question?

well you know, there was this guy riding his big yellow sp500 with snorkels down my street, so I shot at him and missed. Hit his quad though. And he said that thing was bullet proof...ha showed him.
