Default Need Help ASAP

Good job. If this was a safety issue or bulletin from Polaris they should fix it no matter how old the unit is, if they are a polaris dealer they should be responsible for fixing it. I would try to call Polars customer service and ask them about it, if it's a safety issue they shouldn't give you the cold shoulder, i've worked in the automotive field and a safety bulletin is nothing to deny or put off for a customer.

i found there customer service # on their website for you, ask them if there was a bulletin around 99 or 2000 for this.

NOTE .......WD40 is NOT A LUBRICANT,it is a solvent and is for cleaning stuff (also good to catch trout on, LOL sorry it's true thay love the sweet taste of it). thats why it doesn't last long. but it sounds like you did the right thing and called the dealer.
