Default help please read this

when my 95 scrammy warms up it idles really high i dont know what to do i tried to adjust the cable on the bars but that didnt help any ideas

try adjusting your idle screw on the carb.

is that the spring screw or the one thats hard to get to?

It's the larger one, with a philips head in it. Yes, it's spring loaded. You can either do it with a screwdriver (long one) or by hand with the airbox removed. If that doesn't help, you may have an air leak somewhere around the jug. My 95 broke the front tabs off where it mounts to the 'block' which caused air to get in, and idle very high.

correct wfo thanks for your help i tightened the carb mount clamp against the engine and it idles fine thanks for your help
