Default Getting a Polaris need some advice

Getting a Polaris used and am trying to decide between a 2000 Expidition 425 with very low miles and price, a decent Sportsman 500 price is good but miles high, or a 2002 325 Mag with low miles hours good price and comes with a plow. I almost forgot to add what do you guys knoww about the diesels

Tough call. It depends on what you call high mileage. My brother in law has a 500 Sportsman, with about 12,000 miles of general trail riding on it (no roc-hopping or mud bogging) and it is still going strong. If everything is tight, and the engine sound, I wouldn't be afraid of it.
The 425 Xpedition was a decent machine, but they are rare birds, so be warned that if you need parts/repairs, they might be hard to come by.
325 Mag was also a decent machine, but underpowered by todays standards for a full-size machine. Rugged and reliable, but slow. If you ever want to keep up with your buddies on the trail, I recommend against it. For just running around, and casual trail riding, along with pushing snow, it would be fine.

I bot my Sportsman with 3500 miles on it. Only thing I don't know what year you are looking at but around 99 & 00 they had problems with the camshafts going out and unfortunately mine went after I got it. It had been babied and never been rode hard but I do and it went out after 500 miles of me owning it. But if it has been replaced I would go with the Sportsman. I love mine even after having to fix it. But when you buy used, you are always taking a chance. Good Luck
