Need a new spark plug

On a Polaris, NGK is the only way to go - you can get a Champion plug, but it won't last near as long.
I have also noticed on the NGK BKR series plugs (and other makers of this same type plug) that once it is fouled - count it pretty much shot - you can clean it up a bit and maybe get it to spark, but if it will spark, it won't be very long until it quits again, and a lot of times these cleaned plugs will spark but cause a lot of missing.
My $0.02 - I've always followed the following rule of thumb, and have never had any problems - American made motor, American manufactured plug (AC, Champion, etc.) - Japanese motor, Japanese manufactured plug (NGK, Denso, etc.) - German motor, German manufactured plug (Bosch) - etc.

Personally I would go with a Splitfire!!Tons more horespower, Way better fuel economy and you will never have to replace it!!! Just Kiddin!! Stay with the NKG's and you should be good to go.
When you do plug checks for jetting you need to put a new plug in everytime you do a run. That way you get a true reading.

I tired the splitfire just to see what it would do. With the mods and without the mods. After several tests and runs it did do one thing for me. Made me realize I could have bought four NGK's for the same price.

Oh I got the sarcasm. I did not believe the whole Splitfire deal for a long time. But #1 I have not had a fouled plug since running them. I can't say that with NGK. #2 I had backfires and jetting issues that I could not get dialed in on the 250. At my friends suggestion I switched to the Splitfire and no more problem. Those two reasons alone are worth the extra few dollars a year. But, I knew it would end up in everyone else ******* them. I'm OK with that.
