Some of the earlier model scrambler 4x4s came with Aluminum Wheels, Front bumper, and running boards from the factory to bring the weight down, and make it more competetive with the 400 2 stroke models. This could be part of the reason the 04 weight in at 40lbs more. You can not really tell a difference in the parts unless you check them with a magnet, they paint them up the same.
