Hozed...The Z400,Raptor, and the KFX700 all ran about even in a 300ft Drag. Maybe the guy riding the Z400 was lighter I'm not sure but this is what I witnessed. I have heard the STOCK Raptors are detuned like crazy from the factory but have major HP potential.

 

There is no way a Stock Z400 will beat a Stock Raptor with equal riders in 300ft. I race a friends Z400 that has a Yosh Full System Exhuast and K&N and then with a lower front sprocket to have faster accel and he beats me by a half a quad length in 300ft and then after I start to pull real hard on him and just fly by. I know for a fact with equal riders the Z wouldnt stand a chance

 

hey YamahaRiderOnly we all know you ride a yamaha and its always gonna be faster then anyone elses no matter what... but if you cut a few wires here and there and without the revv limitor the z comes alive and will beat a raptor i know that for a fact and scrambo i do believe what you whitnessed because i have too

 

Then it wouldn't be Stock. Both quads off Showroom floor the Z wouldn't stand a chance.

 

What's up with the YFZ beating 450R?If your talking a short drag 150-300ft then maybe,although rider ability will determine winner.In arace from dead stop to top end 450R wins.What do you mean by fastest?
If it's top speed all you have to do is go by the Tranny gearing/primary reduction/sprockets/tire size/final reduction/max rpms.Yes,it's a lt of math so I will help you...The 450R is capable of highest top speed for modern machines.Otherwise Quadzilla.There is a program somewhere that can figure top speed for any quad on another site but I forget which one.

 

Don't dis the Barbie Jeep either, I put a new 4 in. lift on mine and a high end 12 volt battery to replace the 6 volt, and it tears up! You should see that baby climb the hills! It's like butta!
