Default Anyone run HPD's 416 kit?

I was just checking out there website and saw 85hp for $2500. Anyone have this? What's it go like? Other than hell? I'm just being curious here, is all.......

I know Doug Nicholas has it in one of his quads....he said it is pretty quick..lots of power

Default Anyone run HPD's 416 kit?

Most of us who have the older HPD race mod kit have had great luck with it. The Power Maxx kit employs a variable exhaust valve, and requires a specially matched pipe...hence, quite a bit to change everything over. If you're considering race modding the 400 and you're starting from scratch the 416 kit would be the best way to go. It really rips.

how does it compare to the stroker in drag racing?

Haven't witnessed the stroker in person. Dennis is a good guy, I'm sure they rip.
