OK, I know Rick Ritter is the man for 250 hop-ups, but is he still the one to get 400 mods from, or are others more recommended? And also, can someone tell me how the top-end pipe is? Does it have usable bottom-mid range power? Thanks!!

I just received my Stage 1 Kit from Ritter for like $ 350.00.
Rick had to sell me the HPD Pipe because of a change in the exhaust manifold.
I can't tell you about the top end pipe, I ordered the mid range pipe for trail riding.

 

yeah..rick did the same thing for me on my trail pipe. he asked me if the exhaust manifold was straight or came off at an angle. and mine was straight. so he sold me an hpd pipe to match it up to my manifold. good guy to work with. hope this helped

 

I ordered the hi-rev pipe Rick makes,it makes good bottom power and also revs!!!I have a Sport 400 with coolhead,portwork,38Mikuni flatside.I wanted the HPD race,Rick told me they changed something on the 98 model and it wouldn't fit.Give Rick a call,he really seems like a decent guyto me.
