I installed a RCR airbox mod kit and primary clutch spring and compared it to my friends 99
Explorer. Results , Very little difference both
run the same out of the hole with mine taking a
quad length lead after 400 yards.I believe this mod would show better results when used in conjunction with reeds and a pipe. This week I'll
be installing a HPD aggressive clutch kit and will
post the results.

Good deal! Yes, let us know. Some of us Xplorer guys are getting the mod bug and would really like to hear real world results on different products.

I have a clutch kit on mine plus the V-force reed valve. They make a big difference. Good thing too because I have 26" mudrunners to haul! Those things are heavy.

How about some tuned exhaust systems. I'm lookin to change from the header back on my 1998 Xplorer 400. It's fast, but it's time to make it faster! Any suggestions of brands, or sites to find exhausts for MY xplorer (I'm tired of finding exhausts for everything but my atv) would be appreciated!!!!!
