I know this is an ATV forum, but why does Polaris not put the new 700 EFI engine in the Ranger? Just wondering, I thought it would be pretty cool.

 

I wouldnt be surprised to see it in there for the 05 models

 

I think the one thing that polaris has overlooked is not putting a tb/scrambler 400 motor in a pred frame. I can just imagine that with a race mod or powermaxx and a 5-speed i would buy it in a heartbeat.

 

that would be a fast quad but seem factorys want to get away from 2 strokes.

 

That would make a cool limited edition. Kind of a last hurrah before ending the 2 strroke era.

i think the EFI in a Ranger would be a great combo. i think the Yami Rino has the Grizzly660 engine. and from what i've read, that thing spanks the Ranger in a big way.

it's definately time for Polaris to update the Ranger!

If you put oversized tires and a CDI a Rhino will run around 55 that is what dirtwheels says anyways
