Are you talking about the k&n air filter....if so then you can be looking at maybe a 1 to 2 hp gain....the reason is that your getting more and better airflow to the carb...I don't know if your looking to do an airbox mod..but just remember...when you get more air to the carb you need more fuel to it also...you might not have to rejet with just adding the filter but if you do an airbox mod then you might have to go a size up on the jets.

You wont notice any "feel of the seat" gaind from just a K&N. MAYBE a little better throttle response if anything. The nice thing about the K&N, however, is thta it is washable and reuseable. No more having to buy new air filters

if your stock air filter is clean, you wont gain anything w/ the K&N. But if your air filter is dirty, then wash it. You'll have the same results if it is a clean airfilter.

K&N filter, about 35 bucks. Stock paper filter 25 (for mine). I would go through 2 paper filters a year. Without other mods you probrably won't notice any extra power. With the money you save, you can buy the stuff that will.

If your one of those riders who will take the time to clean and oil it regulary it'll save money in the long run, but I would call it a performance option.

Get the Heelclicker, K&N filter, pipe and somebody to pop your arms back in place the first time you punch the throttle.
