You don't have to tighten the chain after every ride! After you break it in I would suggest adjusting the chain once. If you jump then get a chain tensioner like I did($60). I feel it is the best overall atv. It is great on trails and sporty for dunes. Did I mention the fact that it goes though mud like crazy. Its 4wheel drive and 2wheel drive! My friend has the wolverine, and I can't say anything bad about it, but its always 4x4. It doesn't turn as easy as the scrambler. There is a big price diff. though. I would recomend the scrambler, having rode both vehicles. You will be very happy with either one, try to ride both and see what you like, they handle very different!

Don't let the hp numbers fool you. Its all in how you get it to the ground. Clutching clutching clutching!

If you consider regular maintanance work get the Wolverine. But you wont have half the machine as the Srambler.BTW when the Wolverine wears out it is harder to fix.
