STOP!!! i no exactly what ur talking about. it will start at 1/4 rev and then u go to move and it cuts back out. it is running way to rich!!! what main jet are u running and whats ur elevation.

when i went from 0 to 3000 my quad did the same thing because it was too rich. if u take out the plug it will be pitch black and have heavy like sout deposits on it.

 

the plug looks perfect nice and brown

 

try backing out the air/fuel screw about 1/2 then try 1 turn and see if it will run

 

If it starts at 1/4 throttle then you need to move the needle clip. Wait till it is hot and it does it again then move the clip down 1 notch at a time. Sounds like it has a rich start and when you go 1/4 throttle you are letting more air in then it fires. This is definately rich.
