Default pred vs v-force

hi I was talking to a kid at school who owns a v-force(stock), and we were talking about racing our quads, and he was talkin all kinds of crap about how bad he is gonna crush my stock pred. He says hes never raced a pred (he also says its because he doesnt want to waste gas beating a polaris, but he says he will make an exeption for me ) He talks about how he will crush me in a 300ft drag my 10 quad lenths and stuff like that, is he right about this or is head just to big? If he is right, what can I do to my pred to make it better against it?

I guess the only reason im worried about it is becuase just thinking about a 700cc v twin engine is huge for a quad...I know its got to have alot of power.

Well my brothers Pred is stock except for a K&N filter and 13/38 gearing, and on a 300' drag he beats by 1/2 a lenth. My V is stock except K&N filter and a blue primary spring. This is with equal riders, so if there is any difference in riders, the race could go to the best rider.

in ATV Action the factory-modded Pred beat the factory-modded VForce by 1 second. It will come down to rider skill and who gets the holeshot. Good Luck!

In 300ft a V Force will probaly not beat you stock vs. stock.

If a Pred is as close to a Raptor as everyone says, you will beat the V Force by .2-.4 on a timed 300ft which equals 1-3quad lengths.

this is good news. both our quads are stock. I cant wait to race now. For some reason he cant stand polaris...wait till he gets beat by one, and ive been riding quads for a while longer than he has so I think ill have the advantage of rider skill. more opinions/stories welcome tho

simster570... If traction isn't a problem and this V rider can ride, you'll be chasing him down in a 300ft drag. Top end you definetely have the advantange. I'm not bias either, I own a Polaris and a V and love both. I raced a piped Raptor with my V in a 300ft drag and basically tied. He had to chase me down, very close race at the finish line. The V comes out of the hole very well.
