Default 2000 Polaris Trail Blazer 250

I have found a 2000 TB for sell and they are asking $2400 obo. The description says that it has a clutch kit, performance exhaust, extra carburetor jets, and low hours. They say it is accident free and has been garage kept. What I was wandering is that I'm 6'4'', close around 300lbs., would this be a very good machine for me and if so, if I did some extra work on it would I have any chance of keeping up with my friends who all run Banshee's that aren't stock. I would really like some help, and I'm sure you all can tell by all of my posts that I am having a hell of a time finding and deciding what to get. THANKS in advance for any advice.

250 won't be keeping up with a banshee, but is still a great and fun quad to ride.

For your size, I would think that you would be more comfortable on a DS650 or V-Force. The TB250 just doesnt have that kinda power.

Not a bad price for all it has. It is going to be a lot faster than stock. Would suggest you get something different though, for you're size it's just not enough bike. Now if it were the TB 400, that would be awesome.

What kind of riding are you going to be doing? If it is trails then I would suggest the 'Blazer, but anything other than that it would be a little underpowered.

I bought mine stock and low hours for $1500. The 250 wont keep up with a banshee, but the 250 has alot of potentail. If modded right they say that they can get them up to 40hp or so, witc is about the same as a stock 500 scrambler. I think your probly a little big for a stock or close to stock though. You could just get a stock one cheap like I did and spend the extra money buying a AAEN stage 5 kit, thatll probly work well for ya

For $800 more, you could go buy a brand new one...I'm 6'3", 250 # and I think the TB's are very comfy. But to keep up with a shee, you would hafta take them through a big mudhole or find someone to do a stroker/big bore/reed cage conversion/nitrous kit. Tblazers just ain't made for speed. My friends King Quad 250 4x4 can go me on top end.
