Default Going rate for 03 or 04 Scrambler 500 4x4

I'm in the market for a late model Scrambler 500 4x4, I have a 01 DS 650 which is great but I like the rocks and mud and the DS is a little outmatched on the rocks sometimes and I miss having reverse. Did Polaris change anything between 03 and 04, I was hoping to spend about $4000 to $4500, just wondering if that will get me a good used Scrambler. I had a 2000 400 4x4 Scrambler and it was a blast, I probably should have kept it. thanks.

04 got a gas gauge, new seat, black plastic, cheaper handle bars, and lost the FOX rear shock. Other than that , they are the same. You should be able to find a nice used 03 scram in that price range. In fact, there are a few on Ebay right now
