has any one switched to a twist throtel...
It's a personal thing..........I can go both ways.........but there were a few times I grabbed a hand-full of twist throttle on the Banshee at the worst of times out in the dunes...pretty hard to ease off when you've got a death grip launching or landing off big air jumps.
I say thumb, and learn to palm it to prevent thumb fatique.

I always put a twist grip throttle on all my quads as soon as I get 'em home. I prefer to have a good solid handful of handlebar when bouncing around over rough stuff or landing after big air. Its been a bit exciting a couple of times but nothing that didn't heal. You will soon learn to keep your elbow up. I much prefer the solid in-control feel of a twist grip. Its a personal thing...

lol, j/j.......
I've had both twist and thumb, and I can tell you from experience twists belong on bikes and thumbs belong on quads. I raced/rode dirtbikes for 10yrs, and was fine with the twist, but for some reason it just doesn't work on quads for me. Its definately a personal preference, but I prefer the thumb throttle for quads.
