Default 700 carb ran lean

Put the upgraded jets, spring in.
Turned the pilot screw the wrong way(DOUHH!) ran her for about 15 mi. before realized what I did wrong.
Pulled the plug & it was WHITE, backed the pilot out about 3 turns from seat and now have a good plug color.
Think I could have damaged it in the 15 mi. it was lean?

Over the long term, running lean may burn valves or pistons. In your case, I wouldn't worry as 15 miles is barely far enough to discolor the plug. Happy trails!
