What kind of paddles will work best on a race mod for drag racing i have 14/36 gearing. I'm looking at 21x12x8 10 paddle haulers would these be good? or are there others that would be better?

 

Those would be a good choice it also depends on what the sand is like you ride on. If it's really silty could need more paddles, if the sand is really heavy less is better!

 

I ride at winchester bay oregon its not too heavy.

 

I'd say you'd be fine with the 10 paddle.

 

10 paddles really hook up down low off the line for sure, but the excess paddle drag will rob you of top end speed. I know people with built machines that still can't "spin up" a 10 paddle.........you need a ton of "real" H.P.

Split the difference and get some 9 paddle, bit more bit than the 8's, but not the drag and speed loss of 10's...

 

I like the idea and the cost of the 21X12X8 but i think they only sell that size in 8 and 10 paddle

 

You'lll be fine with the 10 paddles, the pvt trans make things a little different. If you can find the 21's you better get them while you can!

 

i was also considering 20 inch 8 paddle taller hauler any opinions on those?

 

I wouldn't go shorter than a 21!
