Well if you don't think it is necessary,then don't do it.But if you don't want your case to look like the one in my pic's,then i would highly suggest that you get it done.It supports the clutch side of the case,it is very thin in this area.

I'd definately do it, it's cheap insurance. It only cost 20 dollars plus 20 for someone to weld it on. Verses 200 for topend rebuild, 300 for cases and new bearings and down time. Plus making polaris look bad when you blow it up in front of a lot of people![img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-happy.gif[/img]
