is the stuff worth using?which is better water wetter or engine ice?where can i get it?,the dealer near me dont carry it and neither does the performance shop,any online sites sell it?thanks

I use Purple Ice (made by Royal Purple). Add a few ounces to your antifreeze and you are good to go. One bottle will last for about 20 ATV's. It does the exact same thing as Water Wetter

 

Around here you can find the water wetter @ discount/advance auto, not @ autozone.

 

Water Wetter has some increased lubricity, and greater anti-corrosion over Purple Ice. Pep Boys carries the Water Wetter also. That's the cheapest source I've found. [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif[/img]

use it in your 2 stroke scrammy,but use it wisely,at the proper mix with water,it drop temp a lot and do make a better running engine.

 

Can you guys tell us more about this watter wetter? I don't know what it is. Could it be used in my 500HO? Since I put my winch and brush guard on the front of my ATV I've noticed that the cooling fan comes on more often.

 

Swizzler, any of the above mentioned items are designed to reduce the surface tension of water, thereby making it easier to transfer the heat onto the radiator and keeping things cooler.Not much is needed, and follow instructions for adding it in.
