I just got my Big Gun CDI in but can't try it out untill my header gets back from Jet-Hot. So I was wondering if anyone else has one and what did they feel was the gains. I got the B.G. over the Procom because it was said the BG changes the power curve rather then just give a extra 1000rpm's like the Procom. So does anyone have any experience with one? Once I get my header back, I will be able to do some testing against my brothers Pred with the Procom.

 

big gun cdi is made by procomm. same thing.

GE4x4, What did jet hot quote you for the price to coat your heder?

 

$70 shipped back to me. It was $50 to coat it, then $20 shipping.

 

I hope there not the same. Procom $100, Big Gun $233. I was told the BG changes the power curve were-as the Procom just gives you 1000 more rpm with no power curve change. They might be made by Procom, but it might be by Big Gun specs. I guess I'll find out soon.

 

sorry, paying for the name on it, they all change the curve because the curves goes higher to a higher rpm. so they can claim a power curve change. they are all the same except, vortex, which some others put their name on also. they have 10 diff power curve settings.
