They are 4 stroke, chain drive in back shaft in front. When i had my scrambler i really liked it, power was nice. IMO it had the best mix of sport/utility its pretty fast tops out around 60-65mph handles well for a 4x4. The 4wd system is by far the best, if you didn't know thats polaris's big selling point...

You will be happy with it..

That is the about exactly what mine was when I bought it. I paid $3750 2 years ago. $3200 aint bad. See if you can talk him down though. They are great machines. The perfect blend of sport and utility. The scrambler is the jack of all trades. It doesnt particulary excell in any one area, but does a little of everything pretty darn well.

Give or take a few mph's, thats correct. And trust me, thats pretty fast for a 4x4 of its size and weight

Sure can. Front and rear. I have the rear one on mine. They are a Pure Polaris item. You can also find them all the time on Ebay

They are really a great all around quad. I have a few pics of some mudding in my gallery in case you wonder what these machines are capable of going through. And for the record, I made it through that in 2wd as well. There is a lot that can be done to these machines as well. Clutch kits will make a big difference. Let us know when you want to start modding (and you will). We can give you the do's and dont's when it comes to mods.
