Don't get to carried away, I think there was three classes that day and I saw a picture of Newbeatle and Dirty white boy with 1st place trophy's, they ride Prairie's.

 

were did you see this picture?If you watch the video again youll see the stock tires on the sp and the p was even set up with pulling tires.And that was a 500sp a 600 or 700sp would have pulled the thing though the pit back to the starting line.And shotgun from a 1000 miles away I can tell your doing alot of thinking about a new sportsman.lol

 

That pull was held in Iowa, just after the 12 hr race last year, some of the Prairie guys raced in it and then pulled after. The video was taken by Dirty white boy on the Kawi forum. Newbeatle posted that video and more on his site, along with pictures of Dirty white boy, his wife and himself with first place trophy's.

The video of the sportsman pulling was a trail pull, they had no weight in the box, At he time he was making fun of the sportsman, because it could hardly make it empty. lol.

Bill, your right, I am thinking about a new polaris, best rideing quad out, need something to pull the prairie back for the next pull. lol

The Sportsman was definately a Twin either 600 or 700, '02 700 or '03 600/700, you can tell by the front bumper. It's solid around the low beam lights.

And it definately had weight in the box, you can see the stuff in the box. Let's face it, stock for stock, nothing can outpull a Sportsman twin, 600 or 700. I'll put money on it!!

stock for stock, who on these forums is stock besides me?

 

my brother has a 03 sportsman 600 and my buddy has a 03 prairie 650,we hooked a strap to both the other day,my bro's has stock tires while the prairie has 26"? 589's.the polaris pulled that thing around like nothing.a drag race proved the 650 to be a quicker machine,but the polaris took it on topend..they are both great machines..
