Default Predator WB siliener problem

Today, I talk to BBS and he told me about a old post about a popping problem with the wb pipe. The post said to check the siliencer core if it is broken off because of the one weld on one side but not the other. So I check it, and it was good. But the problem is the siliencer packing. It came off the core when I took the core out of the siliencer. It is a difference kind of packing that I've ever seen. It has a cavalar cover with wool packing inside and I can reinstall it. I'm use to the universal fiberglass packing for my dirt bike. My question is can I use the universal fiberglass packing than the special WB packing and also can I run my pred without muffler packing?

I sell the wb pipes and one is on my predator. I havent seemed to come across a repacking issue. I know thats it like one huge piece. And it seems you can run it without it. Im not sure i might give their tech a call or something.

Thanks, I just use the fiberglass packing. It's a lot easy to get and it cost less.
