Trailblazer 550

plus, the cb550 is old technology, it has points for cryin out loud! Installing a motorcycle engine in a sport quad is hard enough but putting it in something like a trailblazer? it'll take a rediculous amount of labor and it will never work right. Save yourself alot of time and money by just selling the quad and save up for something better.

I agree with 95sport400. Also, why would you put a honda motor in a polaris? I would keep it as a polaris. Not dissing you or nothing, you would just have to spend so money on a clutch lever and cable. Which isn't that much, but if you get a polaris sled motor, you can reuse your old CVT.

Nice paintjob, it actually doesnt look that bad. I kinda like how the underside of the fenders are red and the top is black, something different. That engine swap is never gonna work though, the engine has no spark and even if it did run, the CB550 motors aren't the best to use in a quad, I can get you a 1975 arctic cat snowmobile with a good motor, just has some wiring issues for 100 bucks. A 440cc 2 stroke, 2 cylinder engine in that quad would be pretty nice, a good sleeper quad. One more issue that you will need to address is the front brake lever being where the clutch lever should be, you could get a different master cylinder and mount it on the right side or mount the clutch lever and perch upside down on the right side and completly confuse everyone that would try to ride it. Oh yea, you will have to do something about your sprockets being on the wrong side and the fact that the cb550 motor has a big motorcycle sprocket while the tb has a 520 ATV sprocket, not to mention that you will have to do something about a chain tensioner. One more thing: you will have to weld up some kind of an exhaust system for the cb550 which will be a good load of work.
