Default question about my pipe

The FMF turbine Core II is a very good SILENCER

A lot of guys on here use that silencer.
There are not going to be significant gains by changing to/from FMF/HPD on a Silencer.

Now, If you are talking Pipes, that is a different story. The HPD pipe (AAEN,HOT SEAT, RCR ALSO) are far better pipes that the FMF pipe unit.

Save your $$$, keep you silencer, and buy a good pipe and clutch kit. You must keep in mind that the clutching is what will put the new found power of a pipe to the ground. Other wise you are just making noise.

Default question about my pipe

the way out, which clutch kit did u use?

what i mean is should i just buy the clutch kit that is for the HPD exhaust set up with trail ported or stock engine ? i think that would be easiest orrrrr i should i buy the different weights and springs and find someone around my area that is good with clutches?

Default question about my pipe

well i was kind of leaning towards HPD since they seem to be the cheapest so far for the value.....plus does RcR have a website...maybe ill like them a little more. im leaning towards the MT silencer so far and one of the trail pipes from HPD

I would save your money on the HPD silencer and put that money towards something else. You won't notice a bit of diference in power. Mine has a nice sound. Not too loud not too quite, just right.

Default question about my pipe

is the HPD silencer compatible with the stock pipe?? im guessing so.... also on the website it says nothing about the silencer requiring clutch kits so i dont think ill need that either if i just get the silencer right?

just a silencer does not need a clutch kit, but only having the silencer wont give you any gains really. Youre best bet is to keep the FMF, buy an HPD pipe and clutch kit, and put the money you would have spent on the silencer for some VForce reeds, which are around $130-140...JMO
