i was looking at a canadian magazine called royal distirbuter so i can get a pipe for less price cause i live in canada. well while i was looking they had a aaen pipe that adds 5 hp to my 2002 scrambler 500. i thought it was great becaue it was only 230 dollars but i never saw or heard of a aaen pipe before. people told me to get a hpd pipe for my bike but that cost to much for me because im only 16, and pay for my bike so i dont have alot of money to spend on aftermarket parts. the other pipes that i could get from royal distributer is a super trap but thats 500 dollars then theres a fmf for 240 dollars and theres a mbrp for 415.there all slip on though . all i want is a nice sounding pipe and some horse power for not much.

Hey, I just ordered one of those Aaen pipes today for my 2000 sportsman 500. My friend has one on his 400 explorer. He's very happy with the power and sound. I think the price is lower because its not stainless or aluminum. Looks to be black painted steel. Won't look as good, but I'm sure it will deliver the same juice. I should get mine in the next week or so.

Don't let the hp numbers fool you. Its all in how you get it to the ground. Clutching clutching clutching!

A friend of mine used the White Brothers muffler on his 02 Scrambler 500X, added some nice power.

The nice thing is you can adjust the noise level if needed by adding and removing shims(like super trapp)
I would probably go with the White Brothers for that reason alone. The AAEN muffler is a baffled unit and you get what you get, so if you are not happy you are stuck.

Just a note. Rocky mountain ATV prices are in US dollars. Royal Dist. is in CDN dollars.

I,m extremly happy with my 2 stroke aaen products (pipe, clutch spings, roller helifax, chain tenchioner). Very good suport for there products. They are always willing to talk and help with anything polaris. I even use them on my polaris sled.
