I need more storage on my scrambler. i want to stay away from saddlebags, or anything like that. I have seen on some sport quads a little trunk type thing on them. looks like a piece of pvc with a cap. Does anyone have any ideas? Thanks

ya man,

i have nbeen trying to come up with a way to utilize the space under the hood( the place normally for the oil tank on the 2 strokers). some how cutting the hood in half and putting a hinge so that it opens up. theres alot of wasted space under there. just havent really been bold enough to cut up my plastic. i have an old hood from a trail blazer that i was going to use for a prototype.

you can also mount another toolbox tube under the frame with the original one.

just a few of my ideas.

Tank saddlebags and a rear rack with a custom tool box mounted for storage. Works great and even allows me to carry extra gas if need be.

Paul, is the PVC type thing you have seen bolted on the rear grab bar? if that is the one you are talking about, it should have come stock.

The 2004 scramblers got ripped off eh? No fox back shock or that tool tube by the grab bar, but they did give them the new style seat...
