Default Tire Pressure?

I have the stock Carslile Badlands on my SP700 EFI. Just wondering what you all have your tire pressures at? Also is the max tire pressure on those tires, 0.36lbs or 36lbs? It is hard to read on my tires..Thanks

Default Tire Pressure?

I run in my pred 6 in the front, and 8 in the rear. For your sportsman, I would run about 12 all the way around. The 36(it is 36) is probably the set pressure not to exceed while sealing the bead. I would go with 12 though. Your owners manual should tell more info, and your stickers on the quad sometimes tell too.

Default Tire Pressure?

I run 3lbs. mine , my farther- in- law had way to much in his & keep rollin over. funny thing is the training instructer put it in for him.the tires were as hard as a rock. flippin over up hill, down hill, & on straight aways. messed his bike up bad last time. so thats when i thought id ask about his tire pressure.make sure its right cause it can mess your whole ride up ......

Default Tire Pressure?

I just got my 04.5 700EFI last April and I absolutely love it. Can anybody tell me what the redline is on those motors??? Another annoying problem is that I am having difficulty sealing the bead on one of the rear tires. Anybody have any suggestions on getting those XTR's to seal along the bead???? many thanks in advance from a new board member....

My buddy had this problem too. We found which bead was leaking, it was only on one side of his. We poped the tire off the bead and clean it real well. We laid a real thick bead of Slime all around the bead area on the rim. We inflated the tire and seated it on the bead. Hasn't leaked for several months. Note: Place a towel or rags over the tire or you'll have Slime all over you and anything within about 30 feet.

Default Tire Pressure?

i found the tire pressure depends on the type of riding.

---Yard work---
8 front
8 rear

---Trail---
7 front
6 rear

---Trail/Mud---
5 front
4 rear

---MUD---
4 front
4 rear

Higher the tire pressure less ground contact - easy turing / but less traction / ok ride
Lower the tire pressure MUCH ground contact - hard turning / LOTS of traction / soft ride
