My wife commented how her Trail Blazer needed a lot of squeez to get it to creep down steep hills. Would a softer compound pad help? Not too concerned with wear, we're not big into submarineing the bikes...yet. I've seen some postings about the EBS kits which also seemed to contain a master cyliner/kit with a smaller piston which would help. Don't need EBS. Looking for a cost effective solution.

Try adjusting the hex head screw on the engine side of the caliper, my neighbor wasn't happy with the stop-ability of his 2000 Blazer, a little adjustment and he was stopping on a dime.
