Default Predator GPS with mount

Anybody know of a good GPS with a mount to put on a predator? It can be a simple GPS for all I care. As long as I can mark the start so my butt can get back! Looking for a small portable one that might slip in a mount of some sort on the handlebars. I think I've seen them somewhere but can't remember.

thanks,

DAle

Look at the Garmin Etrex units. They are very small and rugged and you can get a handlebar attatchment for them so it clips right on. I have the lgend and the Vista, both are very good

Yeah I Was considering the Garmin etrex. Know the maker of a good mount where it won't fly out and be pretty solid?

thanks,

I can help you with the mount. Get a RAM mount RAM website I have one on my ATV and love it, rock solid. I got the one with the "U" bolt for the handlebars. You can also look at Cabelas for the GPS and Ram mounts.

I use the Garmin handlebar mount. It is pretty inexpensive but works OK. The Ram mount is heads aand shoulders better but it also costs a bunch more

Thanks guys, the RAM mount looks real good and secure. I'm going to get that with the normal etrex. Only thing I'm hesitant on is that the normal 100 dollar etrex doesn't have the WAAS satellite system to pinpoint your position better. But would I really need that if I'm just marking my path to get back?

My Magellan Meridian is shown in my #6 pic. Some people say Garmins have antenna problems under woods cover.

Cool, I just checked out some on the net. They look nice. What kind of mount do you have?
