does anyone know the stock size of the pilot jet on a trailblazer 02? i put a 30 in and it seems like that might have been smaller than the stock one!! cuz it now pings or knocks a lil when u come off the throttle

 

Stock pilot is a #35. Did you try changing the needle clip. Is your response off idle better or worse? Thats the one bad thing about moded trailblazers is that off idle lag. It never seems to go away. But in stock form it is not there. I have been through every possable jetting setup and it never really got better.

 

ya its mostly gone but it pings when u let off the throttle from doing like donuts and burnouts. and im runninga 30 pilot now because i thought the stock was 25[img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-frown.gif[/img]

 

30 pilot jet sound pretty lean on that thing,check it out by increase of 10.

 

problem is i dropped the stock one and lost it inth machine somewhere so i cant go back on that one. it says #40 on partsland!!! i think this might be bad. BUBBA!?!?!

 

but then again in the service manual the biggest is a 40 and the lowest is a 25

 

TB, call your polaris dealer and have them look it up to make sure. From what I've seen over the years usually a pipe change from stock necessitates a pilot change bigger from stock. You need to be at least 5 up from stock (if factory was 30, then put in a 35)
