Default Torn CV Boot on 04 SP700

After owning my 700 for a little over 1 1/2 years I broke something
A stick got up into the lower CV boot and tore it open

This is my first ATV
Where can I get a good service manual and what is the best replacement boot out there for a reasonable price

THanks
Bob

The Polaris manual is a good one to get. As for the boot I'd stay with OEM.

make sure not to ride ur atv without that boot on it...if u get any kind of particles in the cv joint it will eventually need replacement...and that will set ya back bout 200 bucks....

Thanks Guys
Luckily my Dad saw the stick get pulled up into the rear end so I caught it right away and drove it straight into the garage and parked it.
I called the dealer today and he has the boot kit for $24.99.
Just have to wait until the weekend to run down and get it.
I didn't know about the manual but he is checking on it

Polaris has a replacement boot for the Sportsman that is better than the stock boot. Their part number is 2202629.

What's the difference between the 2 boots? The newer one is twice the price $50.

I have a question about this alternate boot. I went to buy it, but then wondered if it was for the front or rear, or is there a difference? Are all the boots the same size? The Polaris parts diagram gives the impression there's a difference between front/rear and gearside/wheelside.
