K&N Filter
#1
The dealer tried telling me that they dont make a K& N filter for a 99 sport 400L, nor do they have any aftermarket pipes for it except a FMF.
What kind of bull **** is that. Please someone tell me where you guys are getting your aftermarket parts?
ALso these guys had no clue what kind of fluid goes into the the case where the front sprocket comes out of and it has a little yellow dipstick next to it? I even showed them one they had in their shop. To me coleman power sport in VA is the worst place i have ever been to. Unfortuneatley they are the only dealer even semi close to where i live. If anyone could tell me what i am talking about and tell me what fluid to put in their or how to do it would be great help?
As for the manual, yeah i would like one, but they couldnt even find their own and they said mine would be on back order for about 2 months.
what great service.

600, Sounds as if you are in dire need of a new dealer. I would suggest that you go to the Polaris Website, go to the "find a dealer" link and locate the next nearest to you and hightail it there never to look back at the one that you have described to us.
As for the filters and pipes, you can get the K&N for any Polaris Quad and they are in my opinion worth the expense. Aftermarket pipes are everywhere. Get yourself a copy of Dirt Wheels or another ATV Magazine and look through the classifieds they have plenty of ads for pipes.
