Default 425 Xpedition Help

My bike will start perfectly and run great for the first 30 minutes or so. After warming up, it will begin to cut out and loose power. Excess throttle application will prevent the bike from dying, but at idle it will die. The bike will not restart until it has set for 15 minutes or so. During this period removing carburetor vent line or venting tank has no effect. Does anyone have any ideas? As always thanks for any help.

Default 425 Xpedition Help

Did it just start doing this? Is it sputtering or bogging when it looses power? Right off the top of my head I would first check the choke and make sure it is not closed. Then I would check to make sure that foam at the top of the snorkel is not blocking the intake snorkel. This problem on the surface would seem to be a temperature problem but I am thinking it is fuel related. When your engine is cold it would run under a rich condition fine but when it warmed up it would loose power and try and die so that is why I am going with a carburetor problem of some kind.
