If you're running what Darrell sells, it's all good. I run either the 1760 or the 1770 K&N. Kinda a cool throaty sound. Given' me Tim Allen Tool Time flashbacks.

It has a very deep sound when it first picks up off an idle and is fairly quiet after than until it gets near wot. I have been riding it with no plastic or seat so maybe it just sounds loud. I almost cant hear the motor anymore over the growl from the filter.
