Default Predator 500 - So much Power!

Hey, I just picked up my new 2003 Polaris Predator yesterday and had a little test drive around my block. At first, the manual clutch was kind of hard to get used too. But after a little bit of cursing and frustration I actually got it, and quite well may I add. I've been practicing with shifting and i've gotten it down preety good too. But I have one question; when i'm done riding it and I have to stop the ATV, how would I stop and turn it off without it always launching forward and making a crickitting sound. PS - This thing has a ton of power and torque, it's unbelievable. I've never ridden an ATV like this before. If you can get one, buy this. I think in 3rd gear there's enough power. I haven't even touched fourth or fifth gear yet.

I know to just turn the key to turn it off, I ment at the end when I stop to turn it off, it launches forward a little. How do you come to a complete, smooth stop? And I paid $4,050.00. And why would it be so hard to keep up on trails? Couldn't you just put it in first or second gear? I usually ride on strait trails which have a little curving involved. Then I ride harder trails, like in the woods, are those the kind of trails that are hard to ride in?

hold the clutch in and turn the key/hit the kill switch till you don't hear the motor.

When you come to a stop you have to pull in the clutch.
