Predator Sprocket help!

Default Predator Sprocket help!

hey i was wondering how many teeth the front and rear sprockets are, my dad wants to know how to make it go slower.

Default Predator Sprocket help!

well either way you do it your going to gain speed in one area. If you move the front sprocket from the stock 14 to a 13 you lose top end and gain low end power. With a 15 front you get the opposite. Same with the rear sprockets when you go down you get more low end and up is more top end.

stock is 14/37
and like said above... if slower top speed is what you want... get a 13 in front... and for slower acceleration is what you want... put a 15 on front.

I thought with the rear sprocket when you go down you gain top end and when you go up you get more bottom end. Someone correct me if im wrong but i dont think i am.

where can i buy the sprocket and what type brand do you reckonmend?

i got my first one from sprocket specialist because they were the only place that had them... but then i ran what ever i can get cheap through my dealer... usually sunstar or JT.

does anyone know where to buy a 15 tooth predator front sprocket?

if you cant find one for a pred... look for one for a 2001 Honda XR650L same sprocket for some reason...
