Try Novus if that is what you are really wanting to do. There was a thread about this here in Polaris about some people have some good results.

I used plastic renew and it worked great. They supply some sand paper and all you need to supply is the elbow grease! It takes a lot of fine sanding to get through those scratches. And you are basically wet sanding the thing. I would use a power sander next time I fix my scratches! My arm was sore that day after I sanded it. Put the "magic polish" stuff on and they look shiny new! They had dirt and such in the scratches(made it look very bad/dirty). Just sanded those scratches right down and it sure beats paying $300+ for new plastics!!! $20 vs. $300+ yeah, I am willing to hurt for a day! and if you want it shinier just add more "magic goo"! That stuff is great! I would sand it w/ plastic renew then bleach it then add the "magic goo" and you should have agreat looking quad!

(p.s. my quad has white plastics and looks great!)

Well the stuff I have is by PC Racing. They sell it about everywhere (most bike shops can get it for you.) Or do a google search! You can get some for cheaper than $20. I will tell you though it has a better result on colored plastics (you can even use it on auto plastics!) Just follow the directions on the bottle and I think they even give you a phone # to call if you have questions. Good stuff! The people who do not like it, do not sand with it enough!!!

You might not have to even bleach your plastics if you use this kit! But I think it is more for faded/not shiny plastic.

I didn't want to wait so I went to my local Yamaha Dealer and bought the stuff (called ahead to make sure they had it) My Suzuki dealer was out and had to order so I went to the yamaha dealer. Personally I would buy the stuff from a bike dealer/parts store so you can make sure all of the components and instructions are in it. Check my post on plastic renew
