Default sp600 vs high water

I'm seriously looking at purchasing the sp600. I have a large creek that runs across my back yard with a couple of deep water holes that I would like to drive through, if possible. I currently run a bayou 400 and it really does not like doing this all the time. Can anyone tell me how deep you can get a stock machine. thanks for the info!!!

Of the NEW Sportsmans, I believe that they can go through pretty deep water, and I think it is deeper than most any other stock utility quad. I know you can get up to the racks, but it is hard to say in feet. If you go to the Polaris web page and look at the seat height measurement, that should get you in the ballpark, give or take a few inches.

you should get a snorkle and take it up past the handdle bars and put the breather tubes up higher with it

I've had my stock 04 600 in some pretty deep water. The air intake and belt vent are between the top of the front edge of the seat and gas tank lid. If you take it slow, and not make big waves, you can easily go thru water up to the seat.

Thanks alot guys, thats what I was hoping for. I had read in an atv magazine that you could take it through headlight high water---but I wanted real riders answers. My decision on buying the sp600 was from the info and support that is given on this forum. I will be picking mine up on TUESDAY!!!! CAN"T WAIT!!!!!!
