What is the best way to accomodate a heavier trailer with an independent rear suspension? My older 500 was bad to "squat" when I put very much weight behind it. Are the newer bikes better, or can you modify the bike to handle more tongue weight from a trailer?. Thanks

 

About the only way to deal with it is adjust your shocks, if you have that option, or load the trailer with less tongue weight.

 

I remember seeing a device somewhere that was pretty much a bar that prevented the rear end from squating when loaded down
