Default PART THROTTLE STALL

2000 400 SCRAMBLER LAST FALL (I LIVE IN OHIO)I TOOK IT FOR A RIDE (ABOUT 30 OUTSIDE). RODE IT FOR ABOUT A MILE AT PART THROTTLE. AND IT FRYED! I HAVE A HPD PIPE WHICH IT WAS FINE ALL SUMMER LONG AS FAR AS JETTING GOES. BUT NOT FOR THE TEMP. THAT NIGHT. STILL HAD WARRANTY LEFT OVER FROM 5 YEARS. TOOK IT IN, GOT BORED AND NEW PISTON. BROUGHT IT HOME AND IT STILL DOES THE SAME PART THROTTLE THING. TOOK IT BACK, THEY PUT ON A NEW RADIATOR CAP, BROUGHT IT HOME AND IT STILL DOES THE SAME THING. THEY DONT KNOW **** IT HAS TO BE THE JETTING????? HELP !!!!!!!!!!!

Sounds lean in the midrange, move the clip down a notch on the needle. Might need to go one size larger on the jetting as well.

did after the rebuild did you re torque the head and base? my 2002 Scrambler fried because of a base gasket blew out....if you have any dampness around the base you might have a bad gasket I saw two of these do that one was a 2000 and was mine a 2002....just my .015 cents (after taxes)
