Got my 27" Bi and tri claws today on type 6 c-series rims. SWEET!! Also got the Highlifter temp gauge to try and watch for overheating. I have this thing torn apart for maintenance so it won't be awhile till the tires are mounted but i can't wait. Anybody every have a problem with changing plugs? Does it really have to be this hard to get the left side out? Especially since I have mud caked everywhere. Well, hope to report back on how the big 700 crushes the (non)competition at Redcreek Offroad park in Mississippi. I went through everything and more on totally stock 25" rawhides so I'm eager to see what the new tires get me past.
Honestly, do tires make a noticeable difference. I had no fear before because this beast went through it all, even had it floating in Twin ponds while the hondas could on watch from the other side. Sorry for the long post.

hey what's up, long posts are ok here I think. I tend to overtype too. well when you get those bad boys mounted up you'll have to upload some pics and details for the rest of us who are thinking of going with larger wheel/tire combos. I have a 2004 EFI and I want to take the stock chrome wheels off which have the badlands on them and install the 27 or 28" Mudlites on some better looking wheels. is there any companies making nicer looking wheels than the ITP 4 prong polished wheels, they look a little dull to me.

The type 6 rims are highly polished. They look chromed. and the rim itself is nice. I started getting rust on the lip of the chrome rim but thats not a problem with the type 6 rims. They are sweet. And the claws on the aluminum rims feel no heavier than the stock ones. Will weigh them to see the difference though.

How do I post pics? Add them to the "My Page" button? I'm new to the forums and don't really know my way around too well. All i know is that the tires are awesome and i don't know anyone in my area that have this combo. If you are going to get them, i can tell you where to go, the guy cuts great deals and pays for shipping.
I have a ton of maintenance to do but hope to have it together by next weekend. We're going muddin' in Mississippi. And I want to embarass the Rincons and Grizz that I ride with. I already out did all of them with a stock machine and they all have 28" 589s or mudlites. the grizz has trailmasters or something like that. Look like a good all around tire but nothing like these claws.
Tell me how to post and I'll show you what they look like. THanks.

Yea you just add the pics to your page "My Page Button". You can write a little bio and add up to 12 pics. The pics can't be any larger then 700x700 pixels and a mod. will have to ok the pics, so it might take awhile (few hours maybe) before we can see them. If you click the camera on my post you can see the layout of the page.

I'll try to have pics of them up soon. They are sweet and I have read quite a bit about them. THey were tested on a 500 a few years back and the riders loved it. The tires/rims look sweet. The type 6 is definitely a looker. I'm afraid to get em dirty......ok, no i'm not.
