Congrats Nicholas Cycle--first Polaris sponsored race team
#1
Hey guys, I have been forgetting to post this, so here it is. Congratulations to the Nicholas Cycle Racing Team for being the first Polaris sponsored riders. I hope you guys help Polaris get into sponsorship even more, and I hope Polaris helps you out on your way to the top. Good job all riders, and Doug and Wes Nicholas for all of the hard work.

They are sponsoring all of Nicholas Cycle's Racing team......which includes about everything you can think of with an atv....from Drag racing, to mx.....and from harescrambles to mud bogs.

Where is hpd??? As in what? Not sure what you mean, but if you mean why aren't they sponsoring hpd.....then my response would be that I think that Doug Nicholas produces better parts, and can get better performance....and they have a large team to sponsor, and they are looking to grow. If you mean why isn't hpd helping sponsor the team too, well they kinda do....Doug and Daryl(hpd) talk a lot and Doug tests a lot of daryl's parts. They help eachother out a lot, so all is well.

i wouldnt go saying they make better parts and better performance than hpd,i was just on the hpd site and this is a quote from doug himself "I have built Polaris 400's since they were introduced. I have ported them in several configurations with stock bore all the way up to the big bore pistons, and your Power Valve cylinder smokes them all anywhere in the RPM range. It also seems to come on sooner with good power and pulls longer. It is hard to compare the max power it puts out, because it has so much more than anything else that I have tried" maybe they have better parts for the predator, but for the 400,it sounds like hpd has them beat..

oh yes.....very true, I guess I worded that weird. They both produce high quality performance parts. I think HPD has a lot of money to produce the parts(which Doug is starting to do himself too), but they usually send their first part to Doug to see if it needs changes, and he sends it back with how he makes it work. So they work in unison. I know Doug uses hpd parts, for the 400 and the pred(drag pipe), and he likes them too. I was just saying that I think Doug know more about how to make a product(wether it be his or hpd's) perform to its greatest ability. Like the powermaxx motor, hpd produced it, but I think Doug has made it run like a streak of ****. Either way, I'm not knocking either, they are both great producers, and I enjoy both of their contributions to Polaris performance.
